Fig cake I – Gateau de Figue
Ingredients :
2 cups flour (all purpose)
2 cups sugar
1 cup cooking oil
3 eggs
1 cup fig preserves
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
Directions :
Mix all dry ingredients and then wet ingredients. Combine the wet and the dry ingredients and pour in a greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
This goes very well with a super cold glass of milk.
